The hotel occupies a building more than 500 years old, discovered and lovingly restored by the architects who now run it after falling in love with it in 2019. Historic elements such as exposed stone walls and original fireplaces have been carefully preserved and paired with contemporary design. This thoughtful blend of old and new earned the hotel a German Design Award in 2024.
In the newly constructed basement, modern garden rooms are equipped with Silent Gliss systems and open onto private gardens, seamlessly extending the historic structure. Throughout the spa area, Silent Gliss curtain systems ensure maximum privacy, while in the restaurant, black SG 6243 profiles are discreetly integrated into the ceiling. Soft white fabrics add warmth to the space and provide gentle protection from direct sunlight, enhancing the overall sense of comfort and tranquility.
